You're back. So, Pokemon World Championships Pokemon XP is officially over. It's done one for the books. But before we get into that, I want to give a special shout out to Mr. Jordan Fringe. Well, we need to know what you think. Give us the lowdown. We'll spend 45 minutes. Yu-Gi-Oh give us the rundown. Here, give me the mic. Give me the mic. So what'd you think? I mean, it was pretty crazy. I had a great time. I got to meet Pikachu. That was probably the high. Actually, both of the Pikachus. Oh, Astronaut. And King. And King Pikachu. So both of them. It was gonna be Lapras, and then it switched out right before it was mine. Would you. A brother had Lapras? No, I like Lapras, but definitely the Pikachu. Katie really does not like Lapras. No, Lapras is fine. Who would you rather meet? The Pikachus? Both of them or Lapras? I think it's Lapras. Honestly, it might be laughing. Yu-Gi-Oh These guys will probably never be at an event again. That is a good point. But here's. Here's the thing. It's Pikachu in a costume. You're wanting to meet the costume. I've met Pikachu before. It's the same. We've met Pikachu, like, a gazillion times. Yu-Gi-Oh we've never met Lapras. These are special. Are you saying every Pikachu is the same? Yu-Gi-Oh there's. There's only two. When you go and meet to a meet and greet with Pikachu, it's the same Pikachu every time. Every time. Every time. What? Explain all of the Pikachus that were dancing was that the Dance Party 6. They're all the same one. Well, so those holograms of all the other. So those are the backup, Right? When you go to a meet and greet, you're meeting the same one of two Pikachu every single time. Not a stunt devil. Yu-Gi-Oh I'd rather be Lapras. I'm just saying. No, Or. Or Mimikyu. Yu-Gi-Oh we got. We got a glimpse of Mimikyu when we were back. We did. We got a little. Little glimpse. Oh, I saw Mimikyu when it was out, like, taking pictures with everybody, and I was like, this looks so good. Did it break its neck? Did it do the thing? Darn. But did you. Did you see the parade? I did not get to see the parade. Neither did we. We did see the rehearsal of the first. It was. I. I about lost it. Yu-Gi-Oh Nate, like, turned into, like, a giddy child. Like, he had the biggest smile. Oh, my God, the video that he took. I can just imagine what he looked like. Yu-Gi-Oh No, he had the biggest smile on his face. Oh, I was so pumped. I was. Because I had never gotten to meet Psyduck. Well, I didn't even really meet Psyduck this time, but I'd never seen Psyduck in person. And this was my first Psyduck sighting, and, I mean, it was a big deal. Then you got to see him again. Yu-Gi-Oh Closing ceremony. When you saw him, didn't he, like, give you a little dance in front of him? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh It was a full show. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh He was like, oh, they made Yu-Gi-Oh contact, and they. They actually brought out a lot of Pokemon mascots that. It was the first time that they were here in the U.S. so, I mean, big deal for that. I mean, we saw Munchlax, Ampharos. Ampharos, Sandshrew, Quagtire, Alolan, Vulpix. Yu-Gi-Oh Chansey. So it was a lot of the local acts. Yu-Gi-Oh a lot of the local Axe. Pokemon. Unfortunately, Growlithe was not there. I was waiting for Gardy to show up. My boy. What happened? I don't know. I think. Well, he's on the island, you know, so I think he was. He's on Okinawa, right? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I think he's still hanging out in Okinawa. He didn't want to make the trip, you know, kind of far. It is a long flight for his passport, didn't he. Yu-Gi-Oh he forgot his passport. I knew it. Yu-Gi-Oh that's a bummer. Maybe next year. Hey, Singapore is a lot closer. Yes, right. Pokemon World Championships in Singapore. That's wild. Next year, back To Asia. So that's like what, a 20ish hour flight? I one-of-one say that. I don't know. Yu-Gi-Oh probably. Yu-Gi-Oh Cuz I. So I went to Thailand and that's like south of. That's still probably like a decent flight south of there. But it was like maybe like 20 hours to get to Thailand. There's like a 14 hour one to South Korea and then another like six hours to Thailand. Yu-Gi-Oh Which that's from Los Angeles. Well, you might even go around the other way if you're on the east coast. Who knows? No, it's still. Still. No, we would definitely go. Yu-Gi-Oh Yours is going to be longer than that then. Buckle up. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, I've been to Louisiana and that's two hours. So we add on like another 1, 2, 3, 4. Yu-Gi-Oh probably at least. At least 20. Yu-Gi-Oh at least 20. But hey, you know, I'm Downtown. There's a Pokemon center there. Solgaleo is the mascot. As soon as I saw Solgaleo, I was like, I wonder if it's gonna be Singapore. Yu-Gi-Oh And it was there. It was. And it was now. Now. We literally just got back from the closing ceremonies. We came straight to the hotel room to do a podcast and there was a surprise performance. I can't believe it. That was wild. That was so random. Yu-Gi-Oh So unexpected. But Yu-Gi-Oh Mr. Ishihara was like, oh, and before you go. Cause people started to get up. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh People were like leaving. It was like, oh, before you go, I one-of-one introduce my friend to you. Or my friend came a long way or however he said it. And. And it was like the longest build up. Yu-Gi-Oh I was filming it and I think we were like six or seven minutes in before. Yu-Gi-Oh it was about six or seven minutes. But Yu-Gi-Oh it did feel quite a long time. I could see them setting up like a piano and. Yu-Gi-Oh Down there. So I like stopped recording. So like, oh, these guys are going to take a while to like set something up and do something. Yu-Gi-Oh But it ended up being Ed Sheeran. So can you. Can you technically say that like you've been to an Ed Sheeran concert? Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, I've been to one before. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh But one and a half. Did he play the Pokemon theme song? He did not. Yu-Gi-Oh that was his first. Okay. I would say this one was probably a little bit more special. Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I would agree. Okay. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Well, so we've had this thing going where we've been trying to get Ed Sheeran on the podcast. Oh, yes. So this is the closest we've ever gotten on the podcast. We. We have this. We even put his. His head in the logo at one point. Yu-Gi-Oh for quite a while. Yu-Gi-Oh for quite a while. And his head would just be on the O of podcast. And so he was basically here. Basically here. Basically here. But Katie likes to call him William. Yu-Gi-Oh So that's his. That's just his name. William. It's because of the song Snap. Yu-Gi-Oh What is the. I. I don't remember how he got. I think it's as a Galway girl where he's like. But I think it's about his grandpa. It is, but I. Katie. Katie referred to him as William one time, and I was like, they thought I offended him. I was like, Yu-Gi-Oh I don't think you said Ed was short William. And I was like, no, I don't think. Listen up. Could it be. Then we looked it up, and sure enough, it was. William was his grandpa. We call him William now. William Sheeran. Yu-Gi-Oh that's what his grandpa refers to him as. William. Y. So what else. What else stuck out to everybody at. At closing ceremonies? Oh, the Ex Star. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh I like, whatever that's going to be. That's going to be cool. Yu-Gi-Oh On a bit of a. It wasn't a bold star. It was like. Yu-Gi-Oh it was definitely not going. But do we think it's just going to be something like. So you know how we had V's and then we went to V Star? Yu-Gi-Oh Oh, Ex star. So is this gonna be the same thing where it's just like, ex star and it's like, not anything crazy out of this world, or is it something completely different? Because V Star wasn't much different than. I mean, it just evolved from a V. Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, it's a. Yu-Gi-Oh but it was specifically. They showed the three dogs. Yu-Gi-Oh So what? I don't know. Like, they don't evolve. They don't have, like, an extra form. Maybe it's gonna be shiny like the gold stars were. I mean, all of them didn't have shinies back in the day. All of them have gold stars. So if this is Ex Star, a new form of shinies, that would be so sick. Honestly, it kind of makes sense with them showing Entei Raikou. Yu-Gi-Oh Raik Dry Company. Yu-Gi-Oh Honestly, I think I would. I would say that actually might be it. Did you ignore entei? Did I say entei? No. Oh, I didn't. I think he said entei Raikun. No, Sweetun. No, he said su. Wouldn't they show the shinies in that little teaser? But then that gives it away, though. Yu-Gi-Oh I will say, I think closing ceremonies was. It was really good, but it was also, like, shorter, you know, because we always. It was always like, here's an announcement for this. Here's an announcement for this. Like, they literally kind of go through, like, all of their properties. And this one, I was surprised because, like, usually TCG is way into the announcement and it was the second one within the announcement. Like, oh, okay, we're getting to this kind of fast then. Yu-Gi-Oh I feel like it's normally like a little mini Pokemon direct. Yu-Gi-Oh almost. Yu-Gi-Oh But they had Ed Sheeran, so. They had Ed Sheeran basically kind of doing two. Two songs there. So that. That makes sense. That makes sense. Now the event itself. Pokemon xp. First ever Pokemon xp. There was a lot going on. I mean, as soon as you walk in, you're on Rayquaza Road, which there's a ton of things going on in Rayquaza Road. There's a trolley that looks like Rayquaza. There was a stage out there with music, food that was like, themed. Bridge. They literally made a Goldin Gate Bridge at the front. Yu-Gi-Oh So cool. Like, literally you pass under the Goldin Gate Bridge. They had the car from the world championships stage last year on display this year. And that was just before you even got into, like, really, even the event. Oh, and the Rayquaza was out there that were for Lego. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh And the custom pizza boxes. The custom pizza boxes. Yu-Gi-Oh The recharge. The coffee. The coffee place. You got one of the cup holders. Yu-Gi-Oh cup holders as well. Did you guys go digging through the trash? No, I was going to. He was gifted that. I was gifted that. From the trash. No, no, no. Because I said that wasn't happening. There was somebody that had it. And I was like, Yu-Gi-Oh this is a thing. And I get. I'm like, well, I guess I gotta go dig through the trash. But then they were like, oh, we got an extra one. I'm like, okay, well, I guess I don't have to now, but I 100% would have dug through the trash. I've done it once, dude, I've seen you do it again. No, please don't. Please don't do that again. I would have asked them for one first, and then if they said no, then I would have went and Dug through the trash and gotten several. Oh, 100%. If you're already in there, you might as well. It's okay. I was seeing people with the hot dogs, and the. The thing that the hot dogs were in was. I think it was like a little Munchlax. It was on. On the side of it. Yu-Gi-Oh I didn't get that one. Was it on the hot dog, too? I thought it was just on the pulled pork. I don't know. There was. There was one. There was. I thought it was a murkrow on the hot dog, but maybe they were different. Oh, man. More to collect. Yu-Gi-Oh Well, you can't. It's over here. You're gonna have to go wait out for the dumpster. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh I'll go to the dumpster and just hang out. Go to the dump. Might as well beat them there. But the LEGO Rayquaza was on the Rayquaza road, and you could go up there and basically build a piece. So, you know, you have the tiny brick, but build a bigger version of that brick, and then you would set it down and they would add it to the Rayquaza. And I was there when it was officially finished, like, completely done. They put on the head as I was there on Sunday today, and I heard them say, if I want to take a guess at how many pieces it was. Oh, geez, is it 400,000? I mean, it's close. Yu-Gi-Oh More. More or less? 500,000? Less. So 440,000 less. 410,000 more. I don't like this game anymore. 415 more. 424. 20. 420,000 LEGO bricks. Yu-Gi-Oh So throughout the weekend, people built the world's largest Rayquaza LEGO sculpture right out there. It was a free thing to do. Yu-Gi-Oh Is that going to be in the Guinness World Book of Records? I don't know. I guess it could go in there because how many people were helping to build it? And I'm sure, Yu-Gi-Oh maybe there might be a record there, too. You're gonna have to buy next year's issue and check it out. And they even had, like. They even had a small sculpture there of what it was going to look like when it was finished. But even that sculpture was massive, too. Yu-Gi-Oh that was already big. And by the way, each of those bricks that we were making, each, like, layer of it was like 10 Lego bricks. So each actual brick was 40 Legos for every single brick. I didn't realize that. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh That's how many. Like, when we put them together, it was 40 Legos in our one singular brick. So let's see how many would that. How many pieces is like, of the bricks? Then let's do the math. So 420,000 divided by 40. Calculator. Assuming that they're all, like, built the same. I would assume. Yu-Gi-Oh It's all. Because that was just like a replica. A four times replica of. Of that week. That would be 10,500. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh Okay. So 10,000 people helped on it, probably. Yu-Gi-Oh Bricks. Those little. I was one of them. Brick by brick. Yu-Gi-Oh we contributed one each. Yu-Gi-Oh we contributed one. And I pointed out which one I did specifically. Yu-Gi-Oh mine was better. Mine was too long, I think. I didn't do that. I think they took yours out. No, mine was definitely there. It was right there at the foundation because it was, like, the strongest break that anybody. That's exactly what they said. Something was messed up with that one. It was the best one. They. Yu-Gi-Oh they were like, this one. This one stinks. Why is this one sticky? There was a booger on the side of it all. We gotta take this one out. They said the booger did blend in with the replacement. Same color and everything. But also. Also see your Pokemon Center. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Pokemon Center. So cool. Yu-Gi-Oh they went in on that Goldin Gate Bridge theme. Like, that was great. The fog cracked me up. It really did. Well, we. Yu-Gi-Oh the fog set off the smoke alarm when we went in there. But it was under control. It was under control. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. But, Yu-Gi-Oh you entered through this, like, long hallway that kind of replicated going down the Goldin Gate Bridge. Then you walked into a room, this massive room. It almost seems like, oh, this is the Pokemon Center. But then it goes into another section where it's all the world championship merchandise. Then when you're past that section, it went into all the XP merch. When you go past that, you're in the San Francisco merch. Yu-Gi-Oh Which honestly, I got to say, the San Francisco merch might have been some of the best merch there. It was fire. Yu-Gi-Oh The crabby hat. Best piece of crabby hat. Yu-Gi-Oh I feel like was a little underrated there. Yu-Gi-Oh no, XP was where it was at. The XP had the greatest merch. The astronauts. You just like outer space, possibly celestial. Celestial. Ed, is that you? Oh, my gosh. All right. I was gonna surprise everybody, but Ed Sheeran, if you want to walk in. Special guest. That'd be kind of crazy. That'd be awesome. Ed Sheeran and who else? Who else would join us? Ishihara. Ishihara could join us if he wanted to as well. Always more than welcome here. A fantastic guy. I've only met him one time. Yu-Gi-Oh In 2023. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh We got to do a meet and greet at Worlds. Yu-Gi-Oh Got his little autograph at home. Yu-Gi-Oh In Basuda the same day. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh That was a fun time. It was awesome. Must be. Yu-Gi-Oh Must be nice. Must be nice. You know, we did also briefly, briefly see Yuka Mori today. Yes. It was so cool. She was literally walking past. Marie already knows. I already told her, but right past us. And she was so cool. Her aura was incredible. You could feel energy. It was kind of funny because we had just opened up packs, and we had somebody else standing there, and we were saying something about Eukomori, and we're like, oh, Yu-Gi-Oh it's this artwork right here. Because I just pulled one from a pack. He shouted it out when we did our pack opening. Yu-Gi-Oh And it was the manky that Nikomori did. And then we just started talking, and not even 30 seconds later, you're looking at me, and I just go. I didn't have to say anything. I just went. But it was, like. It was very quick. It was like, such a quick thing. And obviously, we didn't stop her or anything like that, but it's one of those things. It's like, you never know who you're going to see at a Pokemon World Championships. And I think the fact that we saw someone like Ed Sheeran randomly show up, but it also makes sense at the same time. Like, it just goes to show you that you never know what can happen at a Pokemon World Championship. You know, I'm working on it. I'm working on Blink 182 as a closing ceremony performance in Singapore. What do you mean? I'm working on it. I'm working on it. He's gonna talk to the people. Talking to their people. Yu-Gi-Oh and I haven't watched it back, though. But it was. It was up there. And we basically had. We're battling it out for the fan favorite Eevee Evolution at Pokemon xp. So, like, debate style. Yu-Gi-Oh debate style. Debate style. We each had a. An eeveelution and we bracketed it down to where it was just a final. Final winner. It was head to head. We one-of-one spoil what happened. Are you sure? We don't want to spoil it for the view worries. Okay, so I had Flareon first round. Who'd you have? Jon. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, what are we talking about? Who. I mean, what happened? What do we. I mean, I. You know what? We don't want to spoil it for the people, so let's just say Danny basically lost every round. Two of them out of, like, the seven. Okay, I'm gonna do 1, 2, 3, 4. Yu-Gi-Oh seven. I did two out of the seven. Okay, let me. one-of-one the other five. Let me ask you this. How many. How many individual Eevee Evolutions did you one-of-one He had a strong pick, bro. My favorite Eevee Evolution Umbreon. Yep. My favorite made it to the finals. It didn't make it to the final, which I figured was gonna happen, but I know I was devastated that fl. I knew I had. I'm done for. I knew I had an uphill battle with you having Umbreon. And I was like, man, I don't know how. I really didn't know how I was going to do it. I was like, if I can't one-of-one with Espeon versus Umbreon, I was like, man, I. I don't know if I can. If I can take it. Right? Because I really. I was really banking on getting Espeon to one-of-one over Umbreon and Then I was like, Yu-Gi-Oh I feel like it might be kind of a smooth sailing for after this, but I fully anticipated Sylveon versus Umbreon talked about, too. Yu-Gi-Oh Was both of those coming down to. But I will say Umbreon versus Espeon. Even though Umbreon one-of-one it was 51%. Very close. It was so insanely close. 51%. Poke beach is calling me right now. Are you. Are you literally going to not answer Pokey Beach's phone call? Well, we're in the middle of a podcast. I'll text him. Okay. We love you, Pokey Beach. We had our makeup done twice this weekend. Yu-Gi-Oh How many Fabulous. You had mine done three times. So ours was just, hey, you look bad. We gotta fix this. We gotta fix this up. People are gonna notice. They will say something. The lady that did my makeup today was so incredibly nice. We had a wonderful conversation. And at the very end of my makeup, she goes, do you want me to put, like, a little bit under your eyes? Because your eyes are kind of. I was like, I know, I know. Every time I have to edit a thumbnail. Please, we have to fix. Please, go ahead. Please, go ahead and do it. And she started laughing. Oh, my God. And I was like, you know, I get it. I get it. And then we both talked about, like, you know, getting older is just part of. Part of life, you know, so. Yu-Gi-Oh it's okay, Grandpa. Grandpa. Real breaking day. But, you know, and I even told her a quote that I had heard, you know, that everybody gets to be young, but not everybody gets to be old. So, you know, who says that? Old people. You know? You know, actually, who? I heard that from Jane Fonda. I'm old, so. Nah, don't say that about Jane Fonda. What else. What else is there sticking out in everybody's mind from this weekend? This is how we always kind of do the world's recap. It's just whatever comes to our minds. There's a lot of glitter on this bed. So much glitter. We've got mad trades in today at the collecting trade corner. Everybody brought the goods. Oh, it was Beckett in there. It Was. Yu-Gi-Oh it was Beckett in there yesterday, too. You guys did trades too? Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh How did that go? To get some retard As I needed. Okay. That was great. You know, I was in there today and I was split. This. This girl had a Pandora and it was specifically just like a Pokemon Cafe coasters and just, like, random stickers that were freebies from Pokemon Center. And I was like, oh, this. This is my jam right here. And she had a Pokemon Cafe Piplup coaster. Did you get it? Nope. You weren't there. Nice. Tough. You could have texted me. And a Piplup Pokemon center sticker that was a freebie. When you made a purchase and you didn't get me a present. My birthday is coming up. I did get you a present, actually. Did you? Did I not, Marie? Did you? I did. She doesn't sound too convinced over here. I believe you're missing. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe you aren't missing this card. Well, Nathan. Yu-Gi-Oh All I need is. Well, I was trying to be nice. I did think of you, and you get one present, and I found that before I found the other, so. And plus, Marie was like, you can't. You're not allowed to buy it. So it was really kind of all of Marie. I said no such thing. Yu-Gi-Oh I did hear that. Yu-Gi-Oh So how you Goldin buy things in the collection. Yu-Gi-Oh that's how it works. And that's what I love about the trade room is that you have to trade. And it's like, I don't have to worry about people. Like, can I buy that? Or I'm selling this, I'm like, I want to trade. Yu-Gi-Oh No pressure. Yes. Just trading. It's so nice. Yu-Gi-Oh You walk up to people and be like, I'm interested in this. Here's my Pandora Right. And then they pick something out, boom, it's done. Or they say, I don't like anything we got. Yu-Gi-Oh And then that's fine, too. I got that a lot when I was in the game, and that's perfectly fine. But that's all about trading. And it's Pokemon trading card game. I think it's important to remember. But Danny and I did do a challenge this weekend to where we were trying to build the best Pandora And then we're gonna have somebody judge our binders, but they're not gonna know whose binders. Whose. Yu-Gi-Oh When they're judging it because they look identical. They're twins. Yu-Gi-Oh Say it's the same Pandora and everything. So I feel pretty good about this. I got some Japanese exclusive cards. Well, so. All right, cool. Yu-Gi-Oh I can't wait to see it. That is a really cool Pandora Can't wait to see all your. Your V's and ex's and trade for a single V. Can't wait to see your electrode V. Do you feel like you feel like you did good or do you feel like you're a little worried of, like. Oh, man, I wish I had, like five more hours to trade, bro. We definitely needed more time. We just had no time this weekend. We had a jam Beckett schedule, but it was like a fun jam Beckett schedule. Yu-Gi-Oh Dude, I'm so exhausted. We had so many activities. It was like stuff that was like back to back to back. You had maybe like 20 minutes to get from one spot to another, and then you'd have like an hour break. I kind of like that, though, you know, I mean, like, it's. It's like, here's a schedule. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I don't have to think about what I need to do, like, except for, like, trying to get footage in. And so I was like, I got this place to be, I got this thing to do. But also, like, you know, I know you feel the same way, Danny, of like, we like doing rehearsals, we like being on stage. Like, we like that type of stuff. And so it's. No, it's not attention. We like to entertain. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh That's what it is. We like to entertain. Dance monkey. You wouldn't understand. All right, well, entertain. This is Hollywood. Gotta be careful. They eat you alive. Hollywood. Okay. Hollywood, baby. Pokemon. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Something else is coming to my mind actually right now. I. I didn't get to do a whole lot of experiences in the XP hall just because the kind of, the limited amount of time there was a lot of lines, so it was hard to kind of wait in line because that would take up, you know, a big chunk of committed time. Right. But something that I did get to do, I think, Danny, you do it as well. But was the LEGO experience and shout out to. To Lucy at Lego. I was so excited to See her. But I was telling her, I was like, I think you guys might have had the best booth because like it was an experience. It wasn't going. They weren't even selling anything. They were selling nothing. And they had the biggest Fleer space and it was a legit experience. You walked up there, you built a little trophy. Okay. And then they took you over to the other side to where they assigned a Pokemon to you from Smart Play Pokemon. Smart Play. They taught you how that Pokemon worked. Then they would take you to the next section, which was like a little camping area. I saw the little camp. Yu-Gi-Oh And you would bond with your Pokemon and you also feed them a little sandwich. And you would. Do you have a partner? Yu-Gi-Oh So you, you would like take the Pokemon and like have them meet and they would talk to each other. Yu-Gi-Oh Around the campfire. I love watching them. Yu-Gi-Oh You go to the little tent. Did you go inside the tent? Yu-Gi-Oh And just have them chat. So fun. And then you would go over. Then they would take you to the battle practice area where you would train your Pokemon. Yu-Gi-Oh And they had all these targets set up and you just kind of like walk up to these targets and just like hit them. Yu-Gi-Oh Cuz the mechanic is that like when you're training it, you just have to like move the Lego like Pokemon around and it like kind of like charges it up to become stronger for the battle. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So then you just go like pe, Pe. Pe. And then after you're done with that, then they took you to like the arena, the battle arena. And then you would fight. You battle the. The partner that you had along the way that was kind of with you rival. And then, you know, whoever one-of-one one. And then the last area was these little beds and you would put your Pokemon to sleep so they would rest and be charged for the next battle. And then the experience was over. So. That's really cute. Yu-Gi-Oh I, I told Lucy, I told Lucy. I was like. It was hands down, like, obviously I didn't get to experience everything, but. But from what I could see, LEGO had the best experience on the XP Fleer Yu-Gi-Oh I wasn't expecting it to be that like immersive detailed. Yu-Gi-Oh With the whole thing. Also, I think they did yours out of order because the trophy was at the end. Oh, was it? Yu-Gi-Oh Cause it was like, then you're the champion and you get the trophy at the end. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh that's interesting. Yu-Gi-Oh We built it first. Yu-Gi-Oh Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I wonder if it was like. Cause we did our previews at different times. I Wonder if maybe it was just like something with the logistics of it. They were like, oh, do this one first. It might have been because. Yu-Gi-Oh you did yours before the Fleer opened, bruh. It was at like, we got there like, 7:30 in the morning. Yu-Gi-Oh And then. So for ours, they cut off like an hour to the public, and then they had creators come in and then. Then they opened it back up. So. Yu-Gi-Oh interesting. So maybe that was why it was like, kind of done in a different way, but either way. Yu-Gi-Oh So it was like a full thing. And then know you got your trophy when you, you know, were the champion at the end. Yu-Gi-Oh And he got his dessert before. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh His reward before actually earning it. Yu-Gi-Oh I'm an adult. I can eat dessert first. Okay. And the. So the. The trio out of Legos, that was at the. I guess on the side. That was crazy. That was massive. Yu-Gi-Oh the. I think the Venusaur, they were even saying was like hundreds of thousands of pieces. Those are so big there. I mean, there's. There's what they call LEGO doctors, I think. LEGO doctors, Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh we met one. Yu-Gi-Oh we met. We met a LEGO doctor when I did the. I don't know if you know this, I was on the LEGO commercial. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh I remember seeing you on the LEGO commercial. Yu-Gi-Oh With Terry Crews. Yu-Gi-Oh That was you? That was me. But Yu-Gi-Oh there was a. There was like a LEGO doctor there. And basically they kind of just know how LEGO works and they don't need a manual. So if something fell apart, they could just put it back together right away without having to manual. They just knew where every single piece went. The LEGO doctor. Yu-Gi-Oh I think it was called a LEGO doctor. Yu-Gi-Oh It was insane. He was Zebra nice and, Yu-Gi-Oh he was just like. He just knew where every piece went. I thought that was, like, really incredible. And I told him. I was like, man, can you imagine that? Like, Lego Dr. Is like a legit thing right now? And he's like, I know, it's crazy. I wonder how someone, like, becomes that, like, do you just, like, do LEGO so much that seven years of training, you just know? Or do you like. Or do they have, like, classes and, like, stuff you have to go through? I don't know. That'd be a good. A good question because, like, would it be something like a. A judge? Like. Like a Pokemon judge? Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh I mean, definitely could be. I mean, it could just be something like. Yu-Gi-Oh If you're just so passionate about it and then they decide to, like, create this thing and, you know, they Put up a job listing, and next thing you know, that's just kind of how it works, right? Like, if they ever. If Pokemon ever put up, like, a Pokemon historian or, you know, whatever, right. That's a PhD in Pokemon history. I feel like I could probably apply for that a little bit. And. And then you go, no. An archivalist. That would be a fun job. A Pokemon archivalist, where it's like, is that a real word? Yu-Gi-Oh an archivalist. Isn't it? I don't know. I don't think it is. I've never heard it. I mean, I know, like, you archive things, but I don't know if archivalist is a real word. Archivist. Archivalist. Archivist. Archivist. Arctovish. Arctivish. Pokemon Arctivish. I've heard of that one. All right, we gotta look it up. Archivalist. I'm bad at spelling. I always feel bad at work when I'm like, typing and spell correct. Can't figure out what I'm trying to say. And, you know, when Pokemon needs something for an event or something, you're like, oh, Yu-Gi-Oh it's right over here. Let me go get it. And I mean, that would be a fun job, bro. You definitely got one of those. I did not get that one. Oh, no. I lost it all. I will say I know plenty of people that got the skateboard. I know plenty of people that got the Sky Fair. I don't know a single person that got the ascended hero partner collection. And when I was, like, at my Pokemon center picking stuff up, like, nobody was picking up the ascended Heroes. All skateboards and bears. Yu-Gi-Oh Weird, huh? You think that would be, like, the consolation, like, if you didn't get a skateboard, you didn't get a bear. Yu-Gi-Oh You can have this. You can have this Bear Walker and the teddy bears, the steif bears. It was just a bear. Yu-Gi-Oh a bear voucher city. Now, Katie, you did. I did. I got the XP board. And how do you feel about that? Excited. One thing you wanted it is. Have you opened it up yet? No. Oh, you gonna let Bear open it up? Yu-Gi-Oh You might have number one. I don't even know how many there are. 1500 of each? Yu-Gi-Oh 15. I'm gonna guess it's like a thousand. Like, thousand even. Now, something. Something fun that Bear does a lot of times is that he will take the number from your board and then, you know, whatever number that is, patch auto up in the Pokedex and. Oh, see what. See what you got. Well, let's hope I don't have 1500 because then I'm not having. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh You gotta wait a few generations. Yu-Gi-Oh If you don't have a Pokemon, you have to give back. That's just kind of how. How the rules work. That's right. Maybe. Maybe I don't want to open it up then until I get home. Okay. Well, you know, if there's a skateboard. Yu-Gi-Oh There might not be board there. That's the why should be the wrong one. Yu-Gi-Oh that would be kind of wild. Right? Get all the way home and it's like, oh, man, I got Honolulu surprise that happened. Anything else that I can think of before we. Before we take off here? Because We've been. We've been recording for how long? 42 minutes. 42 minutes. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh That's not bad. That's a good length for a podcast. It is. It is a good length for a podcast. You know, I will say, first Pokemon XP event this year. You know, they did state that it's not going to be every year, and it definitely had a different feel this year compared to previous years. It definitely felt like a convention style, like a San Diego Comic Con with all the big brands there, and then, you know, the tournament basically in the other building. And I thought it was just kind of a neat setup, and I think it's a good event to have. Like, every animal anniversary would be, like, five, Donruss. Yu-Gi-Oh Yu-Gi-Oh So I'm curious how it's going to be next year. I'm assuming they're probably not going to be an XP next year, but, I mean, they didn't announce it at closing. I feel like if there was going to be another xp, they would have said so because they just had, like, the World Championships logo. Singapore. Yu-Gi-Oh Singapore. Yu-Gi-Oh Hopefully they still do a bunch of those, like, panels and extra activities. I really did enjoy that part of it. I thought the panels were. Were a great addition, and they really expanded on them from last year, like, big time. I mean, I looked over at one point and they had, like, the Jimmy Paul, like, fashion show. Yu-Gi-Oh Jimmy Paul fashion show. Pikachu dance. At some point. Like, the artist spotlights are really cool. Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh I went to a couple of those. Did you go to the Ishihara Q and A? No, that was my Pokemon. Terrible timing. We missed the. We missed the Ishihara Q A as well, unfortunately. But that's the kind of, like, cool things that they were doing up on stage. So a good event. Good event overall. I know it's a little bit shorter podcast. We usually do, like, two hours on the podcast, but, you know, we always like to. You know, if we didn't sit down and do this on Sunday, you probably wouldn't get a podcast episode this week. So this is how it's always, always been. But, Danny, thank you for. For coming back. And I have a little bit of extra space because all my clothes will fit in my backpack, bro. I brought Big Bertha. I brought. I brought the big girl for this one. Got her out of storage.
