About
A media and research company for the collecting economy.
Collectors spend billions a year, and almost none of that activity is measured in public. Collector Nation covers it daily, studies it deliberately, operates inside it as a retailer, and sells access to the audience it serves — with the method and the commercial relationship stated out loud.
What we operate
Media
A flagship podcast with a 100+ episode audio and video library, a daily newsroom covering sports cards, Pokémon and TCG, original video, and an app that carries all of it.
Research
Hobby Pulse and formal study work on an economy that is largely unmeasured in public. Published with methodology attached, and independent of the people who fund it.
Commerce
Collector Station — a flagship store, trade-in and fulfilment operation in Downtown Easley, SC, and the retail module inside the Collector Nation app.
Events
A live-event floor and content studio at the flagship, plus coverage of the industry’s biggest shows.
How we work with partners
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships never change coverage, ranking or conclusions. Sponsored work is labelled as such, everywhere it appears.
Research independence
Underwriters are named and do not review wording, results, or the decision to publish. Method travels with every finding.
Stated limits
We do not present our own customers or audience as representative of the whole hobby without a sample design that supports it.
Leadership
Ryan Alford
Founder · Collector Nation · RAD Collective
Collector Nation is built on three capabilities that rarely sit in one company: media production at scale, marketing and research practice, and hands-on retail execution. Ryan founded RAD Collective, hosts the marketing podcast Right About Now, and operates Collector Station — which is why this business can cover the category, study it, and sell into it from inside it.
