The base set covers at least 150 cards across three tiers: 90 current NBA stars, 20 legends, and 40 members of the 2025 rookie class. Current stars include LeBron James, Victor Wembanyama, Stephen Curry, Luka Dončić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokić, Anthony Edwards, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The legends block brings in Bird, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Iverson, Olajuwon, and Nowitzki. Rookies are anchored by Cooper Flagg alongside Knueppel, Harper, Bailey, and Edgecombe.

Pristine is Topps's encased flagship for NBA, which means every card out of the box arrives protected and finished to a higher production standard than a standard hobby release. The 2025 rookie class is one of the deepest in years, and having Flagg, Harper, and Knueppel all in the same encased product at launch gives collectors a single destination for the rookies that will define the next decade of NBA cards.
